A lot of info will be applied right now between coworkers and also with member borrowers. Great information. Wish I would have had it earlier. DRI is the leading organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel. Audrey was a keynote for DRI in January 2012. Thanks, Audrey. I received many positive comments about your presentation. The leaders at DRI have you on the short list for future engagement. I am sure we will work together again in the future. I look forward to it. Take care. Hi Audrey, I really enjoyed your talk. You made it fun and I think everyone had at least one take away. Audrey,

Feedback from Farm Credit Leadership Development Program Recognizing the difference between task and personal conflict and addressing early with RESPECT.
My office has a great deal of internal conflict and I will definitely put the tools Audrey presented to use. Hi Audrey, Audrey, A follow-up to your training, most participants still felt it was helpful and worthwhile 6 months later. Conduct issues were improved. Mike Liu
Hi Audrey, Thank you Audrey. I really enjoyed meeting you and hearing your presentations. I also look forward to reading your books; both current and future. Audrey, I just wanted to provide some feedback on the training you have provided our emerging leaders through the FCC Services LDP1 program. Over time I have noticed a trend. When past LDP1 participants refer to the most significant things they learned in that program – things that have made a significant impact on them professionally – your name comes up consistently! Your training provides new insights and helps participants understand communication from different perspectives – things that inspire people to make changes that help them communicate more effectively. Jill Borgelt First of all, thank you for a vey informative and entertaining class at Stanford. I attended the Victors without Victims Class and purchased the CD set and the two books. Good morning Audrey, Denver Metro Chamber Dr. Audrey Nelson was fabulous. One of the best seminars I have attended. Great seminar. Dr Nelson brought a lot of information forward I was unaware of. I recently attended one of Audrey’s (Dr. Nelson’s) training seminars in Denver, Colorado covering generational management issues in the workplace. I found the session to be extremely helpful to me in understanding the dynamics of managing multi-generational workers in a complex work environment. Her mix of humor, case studies and educational content was perfect for the large class Dr. Nelson was teaching. Many of the interactive breakout sessions provided both helpful information, and the ability to connect with professionals from other industries. Paul Gregory Farm Credit Council Services

Audrey recently conducted conflict management training for the USFS Region-6 Fire Leadership.
Hello Audrey: A number of years ago you were a speaker at one of our national conferences for our consultants. It was educational, enlightening and fun. Thank you for your informative, fun and upbeat speaking contribution to our DTC Colorado Business Women group last week Audrey -- you were wonderful! Lots of positive feedback from our organization. Dear Audrey,
Hello Audrey: A number of years ago you were a speaker at one of our national conferences for our consultants. It was educational, enlightening and fun. We are having our next annual meeting towards the end of June at the Westin Hotel in Avon Colorado and I would like to discuss your availability and possible topics to address at that meeting. Thank you for your informative, fun and upbeat speaking contribution to our DTC Colorado Business Women group last week Audrey -- you were wonderful! Lots of positive feedback from our organization. Dear Audrey, Dear Audrey, Susan McCombe, MPA
Audrey’s feedback from the webinar for Inventyourfuture on Code Switching: How to Talk so Men will Listen What one learning did you take away from today’s webinar? To beware softening requests ‐ sometimes we don't realize we've done it until after the fact. (MarketingManager, Symantec) I learned that the "mode" I should be in most of the time should be assertive. That was a very good take away. This was a great topic! I think I want to listen to the replay because I suspect that I will pick up another good tip. (Project Manager, HP) How to handle interruptions in meetings, and how to take back the floor (Finance Dept, Apple) It was pretty enlightening and made me feel more conscious when dealing with women at work or elsewhere. Also some of the issues discussed apply in general and not just to women (in multicultural setup as the speaker mentioned). Not to be taken for granted at work place, and standing up for yourself, and speak up when it matters. (Functional Analyst, Apple) Hi Audrey, Hi Audrey, I came across your blog "He Speaks, She Speaks" in Psychology Today as I was surfing for information -- a study, book, article -- on the theory that women have a hard time saying "no" to requests from family, friends, co-workers etc. The "we want to be helpful, all things to all people, make sure people like us" kind of thing. Thanks in advance for your help and interest, Cassie Holm Hi Audrey. A quick but heartfelt note of thanks for your fascinating conversation on last week's Real Women on Health! show. I can tell you I've already put into practice some of the tips you provided. Here's a link to the show if you'd like to listen or share on your blog. We will stay in touch -- thanks for your offer to be a resource -- and hope we'll have an opportunity to have you join us again. Til then, happy travels. We know one topic we can't wait to cover is your visit to Korea! Best. United States Forest Service Northern Regional University Evaluations (1 Disagree to 5 Agree) I hope you come back and speak again, I really enjoyed when you spoke at one of our luncheons a few years ago. In fact, I still have your He Speaks/She Speaks card on my desk and since then I have purchased one of your books for further reading on the subject. It has totally helped me as I work with engineers and that is primarily a male-dominant field. Lara J. Makinen, PHR Dear Dr. Nelson: USFS
Hi, Audrey. Mills College Hi Audrey – Thank you so much for coming to Mines yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation! I wanted to introduce myself to you afterwards, but you had a “swarm” around your table! Debi Pretz Dear Deb: Wow ... you got a GOOD one today ... how fun! (and informative!) Audrey - it was so nice to meet you yesterday and everyone I've talked to, including me, enjoyed your presentation here at Mines so much! Thank you! Dear Audrey: Thank you Audrey. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together on air. The book is great. There are so many ways to change, to switch your coding! I have begun already to use them. My kids are an amazing experiment. They are the only kids I have so it's hard for me to imagine parenting a singleton. Having two girls and a boy gives us the opportunity to see the very real differences that exist between the genders. For example, my son was walking around today with underpants on his head while his sisters were taking turns doing math problems. Lokey School of Business, Mills College I hope we will be able to work together again in the near future. All the best, Audrey: Farm Credit Council Services Please indicate which parts, if any, of this workshop need to be improved. Please provide suggestions
Hi Audrey, Audrey did a fabulous job – everyone I spoke with said they could have listened to her all afternoon. Summer Business Excellence Forum Audrey, I was able to begin your book today, and it is just fantastic! You have a message that is very important to get out, and I'm so glad you have written this book. I'm looking forward to Thank you for writing this book! Bernice German I personally want to thank you for participating in the Authors' Luncheon on Saturday. I can't tell you how many women and even men fell in love with you that afternoon. You were such a hit!! The reason for this email is because women at my table and many, many more asked it you would be willing to do some form of a discussion group or whatever you would wish to do. My personal friends said they could have listened to you for the entire luncheon. Again, thank you with deep appreciation. Sincerely, |

| Thanks so much for the wonderful keynote address you gave at the IABC Southern Region Conference. Your talk rekindled in me my love of communication studies. I've been working in corporate communication doing mktg/PR for 10 years and have been struggling with "what's next." Although my current job helped me to earn my masters in communication... hearing about someone who has been so successful in communication has inspired me to start researching Ph.D programs. | Thanks so much for presenting at the BPW. I am well into the book and done with the first CD. Already picking up the phone more rather than email. Enlightenment is amazing. I wrote this in my newsletter to my salespeople today giving highlights of the convention: You Don't Say! Audrey Nelson was probably the most relevant to sales presenter there. Some highlights were "Email, what is not being said". I guess I need to pick up the phone more! The difference between the sexes. For example, us girls will write, "Have a nice weekend"starting on Thursday. Men are bored with that. I bought her book and four tapes, because communication is what it's all about. If we could get her to a Kaeser & Blair function (convention) it would be so amazing! Buy her tapes & books! Again, sincere thanks. Here's to your Success, - Cyndi Stout, Promoz |

Audrey, I enjoyed your seminar today and left wanting more information. I took home a strong message that I am responsible for my life and pursuit of happiness. I rediscovered my own "difficult person" traits and identified the traits of those around me. I will be seeking more knowledge in the books you mentioned and in adopting some of your strategies. Thank you, |

| Dear Dr. Nelson, I had the pleasure of hearing you speak at last week’s Xcel Energy’s WIN seminar on dealing with difficult people. I got a lot out of it. I had already been practicing some coping skills and feel more empowered in my own ability to deal with annoying (if not difficult) people. I hope Vicki McCarl brings you back to discuss gender issues. I would definitely be interested in hearing your thoughts on that. I’m sure two hours won’t be enough to cover that topic. Please add me to your monthly newsletter. Thanks. |

Audrey, Your Dealing with Difficult People training helped me as soon as I walked out of the classroom door. I have found myself thinking more and more about the payoffs that the difficult people in my life-circles expect and am being more adept at finding the right tools to cut off the payoffs. Recently I led the first meeting of a technical team of gas industry professionals - I am the chairperson of this diverse and too-large group and have already experienced several difficult conference calls. I am delighted to report that the meeting went off beautifully, and I owe much of my success in handling the situation to the skills I learned in your class - not being difficult myself but at the same time standing up for myself and my expertise, changing my previous responses to the difficult team members with tact and humor, and above all, being true to myself and my values. Thanks so much! |

| "Liked
the examples of how the differences between men and women play out. The
idea of gender flexing is very useful for folks in law enforcement, especially
women! The video, power point presentation, handouts were all excellent.
You know how to approach a sensitive topic with humor and powerful content.
I like the way you slide the critical issues between humor. This was very
interactive and informative. Lots to think about. You know your stuff." - Participant comments, Rocky Mountain Women in Law Enforcement Conference |

run the WIN-SC (Women's Information Network of Southern Colorado); you spoke
at an event for my partner organization in Fort Collins, the WIN-NC, last

| "Audrey,
I just wanted to thank you for such an amazing seminar you held for us today
here in Tampa. I am a legal secretary for Butler Pappas and really enjoyed
hearing you speak. While others may not think it, I feel I struggle every
single day in my communication skills, on both a personal and professional
level. It's very tiresome. My goal is to try and communicate properly while
feeling confident in doing so. I'm hoping by reading your books and listening
to your CD's I can accomplish that." Thanks again, - Francie Moschenik, Butler, Pappas LLP, Tampa, Florida |

| "Dr.
Nelson, Fifteen years ago I took the class He Speaks, She Speaks. It was
by far the most important training of any kind that I have ever received.
At the time I was both newly married and in a predominately male workforce.
Your class not only helped me learn to adjust my communication style which
helped me become more effective in the workforce, it brought a great deal
of awareness to differences in communication styles between my husband and
me. The understanding that came out of your class made what could have been
a very painful experience of learning how to effectively communicate with
each other not only easier but something we continue to find humor in to
this day. - Fifteen
years later I’m still in a male dominated workforce, still married
and now a mother of a girl and a boy. Having a different perspective on
life, I very much enjoyed taking your class again." - Pam Hergett, Civil Engineer, United States Forest Service |

| “In
the last four years of cross-cultural classes, Audrey’s gender communication
class has consistently been our most popular offering. Every class is full
and there is always a waiting list. I never have to worry about attendance.
Audrey’s expertise in the field is evident from the beginning and
it seems that participants can’t wait to recommend the class to their
co-workers. We are fortunate to have someone of her caliber in our community. -Peter Salas, Boulder County, Colorado |

“Audrey
Nelson is supremely qualified to tackle the difficult and sensitive issues
around gender inequity. Her professional training and work in this area
is unparalleled. Her approach is honest and straight forward-this is not
work for the faint-hearted. She tells it like it is for there is no other
road to evolution. She can identify blindspots and problem people in the
organization and offer real life solutions. Her positive impact on the
women’s community in our company was unprecedented. She gave us
a voice where there was fear and silence. I would not hesitate to recommend
Audrey Nelson. |

“Move
over, John Gray, of Mars and Venus fame, Boulder’s own Audrey Nelson
PhD is on the scene! On the snowy morn of February 11th, I had the unexpected
delight and pleasure of hearing Audrey present a talk on nonverbal communication
between the sexes. I laughed so hard I cried! Audrey’s entertaining
and intelligent beat on the way we communicate is uproarious because it
is so true, it hurts. Once again, I am wowed by another local hero and
this one in the realm of communication, where we need it most! |

| “Thank
you for another superb presentation at last weeks PHMA “Putting Your
Best Foot Forward.” I find the subject your train absolutely fascinating
and could indulge in your coaching for days. I attended one of your communication
between the sexes presentations at the PHMA in Louisville, which I know
I mentioned to you. However, first off it was the quality of your presentation
that initially made me realize it was you. I have always remembered that
presentation and quote it to many I meet.” -Ian Taylor, Professional Housing Management Association |

| "I
had the distinct pleasure of listening to you at the recent Colorado Human

adjectives to my impression of your presentation the best I can come up

It was my honor to work with you and I sincerely hope our paths cross again.
However, I would not want to face you as the opposing expert in a sexual
harassment case. You would have the jury on the edge of their seats!" - Mike Sterchi - Lawyer, Federation of Corporate Counsel |
